What's the Most Underrated Destination You've Visited, and Why?

Posted

We all know the popular spots, but what's a truly hidden gem you've discovered that deserves more attention? Describe what makes this place so special – its atmosphere, local culture, unique attractions, or perhaps its authenticity. Why do you think it's often overlooked by mainstream tourism?

As a photographer, I'd say Bhutan. The strict regulations on tourism mean fewer crowds, and the untouched landscapes and traditional architecture offer incredibly unique and vibrant visual opportunities, especially the monasteries clinging to cliffsides and the colorful festivals. It's a land where every frame tells a story of serenity and deep cultural roots.
